About Shaan Air
Aviation Expertise. Safety. Trust.
Shaan Air launched to revolutionise the way pets travel from India – India’s first pet-dedicated, pay-per-seat, private jet charter service. The idea behind Shaan Air began with my Golden Retriever, Shaan, and a simple belief: families should never have to choose between travelling internationally or staying together with their pets.
As a pet parent myself, I understood the challenges faced by thousands of families in India and around the world when relocating internationally with their beloved companions. For many pet parents, especially those travelling with larger breeds or pets that do not meet commercial airline cabin requirements, the only available option was to transport their pets in the cargo hold, either as manifested cargo or excess baggage.
But what if there was another way? What if pets who would otherwise have to travel in the cargo hold could fly in the cabin, alongside their families, on the very same private jet?
That question inspired the creation of Shaan Air India’s first pet-dedicated, pay-per-seat, private jet charter service.
Our mission is to make international pet travel more comfortable, accessible and family-friendly by offering private jet travel options from India to destinations such as Dubai and the United Kingdom.
How Shaan Air Works
The way you started - side by side
Shaan Air operates on a carefully built network of more than 100 aircraft operators across India and the UAE. We do not own aircraft; instead, we collaborate with established flight operators to arrange suitable private jets for our clients and their pets.Through this network, we offer two options:
Shared Private Jet Charters
Families can book individual seats on selected flights, sharing the journey and the cost with other pet parents travelling with their companions.
Exclusive Private Jet Charters
Families can charter an entire aircraft for a more private, personalised journey with their pets, enjoying comfort and flexibility from departure through to final arrival.
Our model helps make private jet travel a more accessible option for pet parents whose companions may otherwise be required to travel as cargo because of their size or breed. Subject to the aircraft configuration, operator approval and applicable travel requirements, pets can travel in the cabin alongside their families rather than being separated in the cargo hold.
Fly Together, Beautifully.
The Best Seat Is Together
At Shaan Air, we believe that pets are not baggage. They are family.
What began with Shaan has grown into a mission to help families relocate internationally without the heartache of being separated from their four-legged companions during the journey.
Every flight represents more than a destination reached. It represents peace of mind, a shared experience and the reassurance that, wherever life takes you, your companion can be by your side.
